WHAT IS DECORATIVE CONCRETE?
Decorative concrete is poured concrete that's textured, coloured or finished to become a feature in its own right, whether that's stamped to mimic stone, brick or wood, exposed to reveal the natural aggregate, or coloured and sealed for a clean custom look. It's for homeowners who want more than a plain grey slab and something that genuinely elevates the space.

ASHLAR SLATE
A warm, natural wood plank look with detailed grain texture, great for patios, porches, and outdoor living spaces where you want the look of wood with the durability of concrete.
WOODGRAIN PATTERN
A textured stone-inspired finish with subtle movement and depth, giving patios, walkways, and entryways a classic, high-end granite look.
OLD GRANITE STAMP
Pebbled slip-resistant finish that wears beautifully. A durable choice for driveways and walkways.
EXPOSED AGGREGATE
A budget-friendly mix: smooth-broomed center with a decorative stamped border to dress it up

Central Alberta's clay soils heave and our frost drives deep. Stamped concrete that isn't prepped and poured for that will crack, spall and fade after a winter or two. We've been pouring in this climate for over a decade, so we build for it from the ground up.
That means proper base prep and compaction, the right mix and strength for our freeze-thaw cycles, reinforcement where it counts, control joints cut at the correct spacing, and a quality sealer that protects colour and surface against moisture, salt and UV.
It's the difference between a patio that still looks sharp in ten years and one that's flaking by spring.

Every project is quoted free after we see the site but here are honest ballpark ranges so you can plan. Final pricing depends on size, finish, colour, site access, and prep.

****Pricing is per square foot as a general guide. Final cost depends on size, site prep, access and removal of any existing concrete. The bigger the pour, the lower the per-foot cost usually comes down.
